2. वेस्टर्न डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर (डब्ल्यूडीएफसी): Western Dedicated freight Corridor (WDFC):

Alignment has been generally kept parallel to existing lines except provision of detours and entirely on a new alignment from Rewari to Dadri and also from Sanand to Vadodara. This new line portion of DFC is designed to connect with existing New Delhi - Mathura line at Asaoti railway station from Pirthala station of DFC. Moreover, the Western DFC is proposed to join Eastern Corridor near Dadri

The proposed corridor stretching 1080 km traverses through three states of India, namely West Bengal, Orissa, and Andhra Pradesh. Mostly runs parallel to the existing Kharagpur-Vijayawada coastal railway line. It also passes over three zonal railways, namely South Eastern, East Coast and South-Central Railway. The proposed East-West DFC (EWDFC) from Bhusaval to Dankuni including spur line from Rajkharswan to Andal passes through five states namely West Bangal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. The length of the mainline is 1551 RKM and the length of the spur line is 187 RKM (Total: 1738 RKM). This corridor has further been extended from Bhusaval to Palghar. The DPR for this corridor is planned to be completed by Mar’23.भुसावल से दानकुनी तक प्रस्तावित ईस्ट-वेस्ट डीएफसी (ईडब्ल्यूडीएफसी) जिसमें राजखरस्वान से अंडाल तक की स्पर लाइन शामिल है, पांच राज्यों पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड, ओडिशा, छत्तीसगढ़ और महाराष्ट्र से होकर गुजरती है। मुख्य लाइन की लंबाई 1551 आरकेएम है और स्पर लाइन की लंबाई 187 आरकेएम (कुल: 1738 आरकेएम) है। इस कॉरिडोर को भुसावल से पालघर तक बढ़ा दिया गया है। इस कॉरिडोर की डीपीआर मार्च 23 तक पूरी करने की योजना है।

3.North-South Corridor (उत्तर-दक्षिण गलियारा):-

The proposed North-South DFC (NSDFC) from Itarsi-Nagpur-Vijayawada passes through four states namely Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. The length of this route is 890 RKM. Railway Board has further extended this corridor from Vijayawada to Nidubrolu. The DPR for this corridor is targeted for completion by Feb’23.These areas surrounding the route are endowed with natural resources such as coal and other minerals, steel plants in adjoining areas, Industrial hubs like Cement Plants, Thermal Power Stations, Logistic Parks which generate heavy freight along the North-South Sub corridor route.इटारसी-नागपुर-विजयवाड़ा से प्रस्तावित उत्तर-दक्षिण डीएफसी (एनएसडीएफसी) चार राज्यों अर्थात् मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश से होकर गुजरता है। इस मार्ग की लंबाई 890 आरकेएम है। रेलवे बोर्ड ने इस कॉरिडोर को विजयवाड़ा से निडुब्रोलु ​​तक और बढ़ा दिया है। इस गलियारे के लिए डीपीआर फरवरी'23 तक पूरा करने का लक्ष्य है। मार्ग के आसपास के ये क्षेत्र कोयला और अन्य खनिजों जैसे प्राकृतिक संसाधनों, आसपास के क्षेत्रों में इस्पात संयंत्रों, सीमेंट संयंत्रों, थर्मल पावर स्टेशनों, लॉजिस्टिक पार्क जैसे औद्योगिक केंद्रों से संपन्न हैं। उत्तर-दक्षिण उप गलियारा मार्ग पर भारी माल ढुलाई।
