 Now Revised Rates of various allowances upon Dearness Allowance being raised by 50% from 1 January 2024 dates 4.6.2024 [Click here download pdf Notice],  According to railway Board's letter bearing RBE No. 51/2024 dated 05.06.2024 or ref RBE No. 26/2024 dated 15.03.2024  [CLICK HERE DOWNLOAD] DA reach at 50% hence various allowance shall be increase 25% .

1. Vide Board's letter under reference, the rates of Dearness Allowance were raised to 50%. Consequently, multiple references have been received from the Staff Federations regarding revision in the rates of various allowances whose rates were slated to be revised upon DA reaching 50%.
2,The revised rates of these allowances shall be applicable with effect from 1st January, 2024.
3. In view of the same, a list of such allowances whose rates shall be revised with DA reaching 50%, along with the revised rates of Breakdown allowance is  7th CPC is given Below.
 
i) Helper Grade-I &II and others Group D (now group c level-1) - Rs 338 Per Month.
ii) Technician Grade-III (Level-2) - Rs 506 Per Month.
iii) Technician Grade-I & supervisory (Level-5) and Technician Grade-II (Level-4)   - Rs 675 Per Month.
iv) Sr. Technician, junior Engineers and higher grade (Level-6) - Rs 844 Per Month.

Ans - रनिंग शेड और कैरिज एवं वैगन डिपो में कार्यरत अराजपत्रित रेलवे कर्मचारी, जिन्हें ब्रेकडाउन ड्यूटी के लिए नियुक्त किया गया है और पर्यवेक्षक कर्मचारियों सहित रिलीफ ट्रेन इलेक्ट्रिकल कर्मचारी, जो वेतन मैट्रिक्स में लेवल 6 (4200 रुपए जीपी) और उससे ऊपर के पद धारण करते हैं (कैरिज एवं वैगन डिपो, लोको रनिंग शेड या इलेक्ट्रिकल रिलीफ ट्रेन के प्रभारी पर्यवेक्षकों को छोड़कर), को निम्नलिखित की अनुमति दी जाएगी या दिया जाता है. Non-Gazetted Railway employees working in Running Sheds and Carriage & Wagon Depots deputed for breakdown duty and Relief Train Electrical staff including supervisory staff holding posts in Level 6 (Rs. 4200 GP) and above in the pay matrix (except supervisors in charge of carriage and wagon depot, loco running shed or electrical relief train), shall be allowed or allowed to:
